Rotterdam parte 2

Buenas noches. Hoy he cambiado mi rutina de escritura en el blog y he decidido escribir por la noche. Es el cumpleaños de Carmen y he estado todo el día con ella dándole mimos para ver si luego me toca un trozo de tarta. ¡Felicidades!


En la última entrada, hablé de Rotterdam y de cómo nos habíamos dado un paseo completo por la ciudad gracias al autobús anfibio. Hoy, después de que paréis de reiros viendo mi foto del baño que me di en el río intentando escapar del bus anfibio por la ventana, os hablaré un poco más de la ciudad.


Tras el paseo tan extraño que dimos nada más llegar, fuimos a ver el Euromast. Es una torre muy alta que se usa de mirados, pagando la entrada correspondiente. Subimos en un ascensor hasta la parte de arriba, desde donde se puede contemplar toda la ciudad de Rotterdam, y yo casi salgo volando de allí debido al tremendo viento que hacía. Menos mal que Carmen me agarró. Después nos metimos en la parte giratoria, que te sube "eléctricamente" aún más alto, mientras estás sentado en un banco de 360º que te permite ir viéndolo todo aún mejor. Desde allí se ve el famoso puente Erasmo de Rotterdam, las casas cúbicas (que se han convertido en una gran atracción turística) y todo el puerto hasta donde alcanzaba la vista. El video informativo que pudimos ver en el autobús, dijo que era el puerto más grande de Europa y el tercero más grande del mundo.


Después de la visita al Euromast, anduvimos hacia el centro y buscamos un sitio para comer, y luego nos dirigimos a la "calle comercial" del centro de Rotterdam que llama la atención por su rara disposición, pero que nos gustó mucho. Allí encontramos un "La Place" donde tomamos un café, y continuamos nuestra ruta por el centro. 


A media tarde, cogimos el tren de vuelta a Eindhoven pero, como ya era habitual en nosotros, nos paramos antes para conocer otro lugar, del que ya os hablaré otro día. Ahora voy a ver la segunda parte del partido de Champions que enfrenta al Bayern de Múnich y al R. Madrid. Yo prefiero que gane el Madrid, pero no se lo digáis a Carmen.

Rotterdam part 2



Good evening. Today I have changed my routine of writing in the blog and I decided to write at night. It's Carmen's birthday and I've been all day with her giving cuddles to her, to see if I touch a piece of cake then. Happy Birthday!In the last entry, I mentioned Rotterdam and how we were given a full tour of the city in an amphibious bus. Today, after you finish laughing at me, because of my picture of the bathroom that I had in the river trying to escape the amphibious bus through the window, I'll talk a little more of the city.After the strange trip we had when we arrived, we went to see the Euromast. It is a very tall tower used as lookout, paying the entry. We took an elevator to the top, where you can see the whole city of Rotterdam, and I almost leave out of there because of the tremendous wind was doing. Luckily Carmen grabbed me. After, we got into the rotating part, that rises "electrically" even higher, while sitting on a bench of 360 ° that allows you to be seeing everything even better. From there you see the famous "Erasmo of Rotterdam" bridge, the cubic houses (which have become a major tourist attraction) and the port as far as you can. The informational video we saw on the bus, said it was the largest port in Europe and the third largest in the world.After visiting the Euromast, we walked toward the center and looked for a place to eat, and then went to the "shopping street" from the center of Rotterdam.
