Viajando

¡Un nuevo día! Hoy estoy muy contento porque me he enterado de que Carmen vuelve a casa. Javi me ha dicho que viene en avión pero no sé donde va a aparcar el avión ya que yo no he visto sitio en la terraza ni delante de casa.


Por lo visto, resulta sencillo viajar en avión de un país a otro aunque las ciudades de origen y destino, no sean siempre las deseadas. Las compañías de bajo coste están cada vez más presentes en los aeropuertos de todo el mundo. Sí viajas con poco equipaje, una compañía como Ryanair es la ideal: para viajar a Eindhoven desde España, nos encontramos con diversas opciones; entre ellas Madrid o Porto.

Sí necesitas facturar maletas, este tipo de.compañías incrementan considerablemente el precio y ya no resulta tan rentable. Sí viajas con mascotas, esta aerolínea no es para ti: este servicio se puede encontrar en otras como Vueling donde los gatos somos equipaje de mano.


Mi experiencia con los aviones no ha sido muy positiva por el momento; hacen mucho ruido y tengo miedo de que se caigan, no tener tiempo de reaccionar, y perder una de mis vidas. Cuando Carmen y yo vinimos a Eindhoven, tuvimos que viajar con Vueling desde Vigo, con destino Amsterdam y con escala en Barcelona. A mí se me hizo muy pesado; salvo que tengas la suerte de tener un sitio libre a tu lado, los gatos debemos ir bajo el asiento.


En el trayecto Vigo-Barcelona, tuvimos suerte y pude ir al lado de Carmen. Intenté portarme bien y no dar la lata; no maulle nada pero hacía tanto calor que tuve que ir medio viaje con la boca abierta y parece ser que eso tiene mucha gracia. Por suerte, en el trayecto Barcelona-Amsterdam, y aunque tuve que ir las dos horas en las piernas de Carmen, estaba tan cansado que me quedé frito.


Cuando llegué a casa estaba agotado, pero la necesidad de explorar hizo que me olvidase de eso.

Traveling


New day! Today I'm very happy because Carmen will come back home. Javi told me that she comes by plane but I don't know where she will park the plane because there is not enough space in the terrace of the house...


Apparently, it is easy to travel by plane between two countries in spite of the departure and the destination cities will not be always the desired ones. Low-cost companies are growing in the airports around the world. If you travel with little luggage, a company like Ryanair is ideal: to travel from Spain to Eindhoven, we can choose some options, such as Madrid or Porto (in Portugal but really near to Galicia).


If you need to check-in the baggage, this kind of companies rise considerabily the cost of the ticket and, in this case, it is not so profitable. If you want to travel with pets, Ryanair is not an option for you: you can find this service in other companies like Vueling in which we, the cats, are hand luggage.


My exprience with the planes is not good by the way; they make a lot of noise and I am afraid of the possibility that they fall down and I don't have enough time to react and lose one of my seven lifes. When Carmen and me came to Eindhoven, we had to travel with Vueling from Vigo to Amsterdam, with one scale in Barcelona. It was really hefty; if you are lucky and the seat aside is empty, we can travel in that seat, but if not, we have to travel below the seat.


In the Vigo-Barcelona trip, we were lucky and I could travel near Carmen. I tried to be good and not nagging; I didn't meow anytime but the temperature was so hot and I had to travel half of the trip with the mouth opened; that seems to be very funny for the other people... Lucky me, in the Barcelona-Amsterdam trip, I was so tired and I fell asleep while I was under Carmen's seat.


When I arrived home I was exhausted but I needed to explore the new place and I forgot the fatigue.
