's-Hertogenbosch

's-Hertogenbosch

What a title, isn't it?  What you read is the name of a city I don't know how to pronounce, but for Dutch people hasn't to be very easy as they called it Den Bosch.

When we returned of Roermond, we decided to continue our trip to this city, that is just a half hour of Eindhoven in the opposite directionDen Bosch, is very similar to other Dutch cities where I have beenquiet and pleasant, not very big, with a central square and a church, typical things of these places. They were already preparing the big party of April 30th (but that's another story).

As I am a cat, I felt comfortable in this city: it was not very crowded, practically all the center is pedestrianized and I saw another cats walking through the streets (I did not understand what they said to me)We took a coffee (Take Away), and returned to the train to Eindhoven where they were also preparing the big party (no, I'm not going to tell it yet).

I got so tired and layed down to sleep as usual, because a long day of shopping and sightseeing, make me lose a lot of energy. And as my friend Garfield says, if sleeping is an art, I am a masterpiece.

Roermond

Roermond

Good morningToday I got up as late as I wanted, but I will continue sleeping when I finish this, my dream thirst knows no bounds. When I entered the living room in the morning, Javi had left me a box and ran to get insideI love the boxes!,So I was playing around and I guess that's why I'm so tired yet.

Last Sunday, we continued our tour through Holland, and our steps (or rather the train) took us to Roermond. We read online that in this city, they have a large "Outlet" shopping center  (the Designer Outlet Roermond) and decided to go there, because they open everyday in the week.

As it was Sundaywe arrived very early to the city and at first we dindn't find many people in the streets, but when we arrived at Outlet, we understood that they were all there!. The mall (I really likedit's like a small city full of shops of manybrands of clothing and accessories, but it bothered me a bit that there were no pet stores. We spent most of time at Nike, Adidas, Puma ...stores, that Carmen and Javier like most.

We spent all morning, and decided to eat there in one of several sites there are, in this case, a "La Place". When we finished eating, we returned to the city center and that was very different because there were a lot of people yetand the truth is that we likedPerhaps the city center, reminded us to Eindhoven a bit more than other cities, and found it very comfortable and welcoming, especially the square full of terraces where we stopped for having a coffee.

After a pleasant walk we returned to the station and took the train back to Eindhoven. This time I ended up not as tired as other days, and it must be because I love shopping.

Happy Birthday!

Or as they say in DutchHartelijk gefeliciteerd!

Today I'm dedicating my words to my dear Javi, who's birthday's today. Being a cat out of work (although I am a great plumber and people who knows me, knows it) I have no other way to make a gift to himthan writting something in his honor.

Since I've come to the family, Javi has treated me really great, plays with me every day and has never let me miss anything. He makes me company when he has time andafter work, he always comes home to see me.

Maybe at first, my entry of today does not seem to have anything to do with Holland, but I know it's for Javi, that I had the opportunity to be here a while, getting to know other places and new people, so thanks for it.

Congratulations and thanks for everything.
